5 Points 4 Paws

Meet Nora, our first Pet of the Week!

"I'd like to thank the Academy, my agent, and most of all, my parents. Without them choosing Five Points Four Paws, I could never have received the honor of being the inaugural Pet of the Week!"

Five Points Four Paws is proud to name Nora as our very first Pet of the Week! Nora is one of the sweetest dogs we've had the pleasure of visiting. A simple "Hey, Nora!" was rewarded with all sorts of eager face-licks and tail-wags. Many thanks to Mom and Dad (Casey and Sethen) for allowing us to make a new friend!

The Wait is Finally Over: Five Points Four Paws Blog is here!!!

Hi. I'm a dog. My name is Ralph. I bet you can't guess who my favorite pet sitters are! Five Points Four Paws, of course!

Welcome to the Five Points Four Paws blog! Aside from being your trusted pet sitters, we hope to be your source for all things pet care-related in the Clarke/Oconee area. Whether you need recommendations on dog food, cat toys, or local vets, this blog is one way we hope to meet your pet information needs. We'll also throw in any good pet care tips we come across. Anything we can do to help!

There will be plenty of fun stuff as well. Check back often for features on local pets as we get to know them and their owners. Your four-legged friend could be next! That said, we don't want to discriminate. We welcome pets of all types to our blog, however many legs...two, three, four, six, eight, zero, a hundred. We love 'em all!

We'll also let you know about upcoming events in the area that may be of interest to you as a loving pet owner. For example, The Oconee River Kennel Club is hosting the "Halloween Howl" Saturday, October 2 at Herman C. Michael Park in Oconee County. The event is from 3 to 5 p.m. and will be full of furry fun including a dog costume contest. Hope to see you there!
